Job Description

We are seeking a skilled RHOCP Administrator with 4-8 years of experience in managing and maintaining Redhat OpenShift infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring the high availability and performance of OpenShift clusters. This role requires a proactive approach to incident resolution, infrastructure automation, and performance tuning in a mission-critical, 24x7 operational environment.

What you will do:

Strong expertise in Redhat OpenShift (OCP) cluster installation, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes architecture and container orchestration. • Proficiency in Linux administration and shell scripting. • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK. • Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and ArgoCD. • Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, Load Balancers, Ingress, TLS). • Exposure to managing and scaling stateful applications using StatefulSets and PVCs. • Understanding of Operator Lifecycle Management (OLM) for managing Kubernetes-native applications. • Strong understanding of etcd and its role in OpenShift, including backup and recovery procedures. • Experience with OpenShift Image Streams and Registry Management. • Strong understanding of etcd and its role in OpenShift, including backup and recovery procedures. • Experience in automating infrastructure tasks using Ansible, Bash, or Python. • Knowledge of OpenShift security features, including RBAC and network policies. • Ensure SLA's and Operational standards are met including ITSM guidelines.

The skills you bring:

Minimum 4-8 years of experience in RHOCP platform.
• Hands-on experience in Redhat OpenShift (RHOCP) cluster installation, configuration, and management. • Proficiency in troubleshooting OpenShift cluster issues, including networking, storage, and application performance. • Redhat OpenShift Administrator (EX280) or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) is preferred. • Willingness to work in a 24x7 operational environment with rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.Understanding in developing automation scripts using Bash scripting and Python to enhance the efficiency and quality of cloud operations. • Hands-on experience with OpenShift Virtualization for running and managing virtual machines within OpenShift.
