RF Design Lead (CMOS)

You will be working as an RF Design Lead at Boltchip, a Singapore-based Consulting firm specializing in building Innovation Capability Centers for Semiconductor clients in APAC. As the RF Design Lead, your primary focus will be on CMOS-based RFIC design, particularly in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi transceiver design. Your responsibilities will include leading end-to-end RF design projects, architecting RF blocks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, performing simulation and verification, and mentoring junior engineers. Your expertise in RFIC design using CMOS technology and strong background in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi design will be crucial for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end RF design and integration of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi transceivers on CMOS process nodes. - Architect and design RF blocks such as LNAs, Mixers, PLLs, PAs, and RF filters. - Collaborate closely with analog, digital, and layout teams to ensure successful chip tape-out and bring-up. - Perform simulation, verification, and lab validation of RF circuits. - Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence across the RF design function. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering. - 7-10 years of hands-on experience in RFIC design using CMOS technology. - Strong background in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (2.4GHz / 5GHz) design. - Familiarity with tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, SpectreRF, and EM simulation tools. - Solid understanding of RF system-level architecture and design trade-offs. - Excellent analytical and communication skills.
