Revenue Recognition Team Leader

As a Revenue Recognition Team Leader at CBRE Business Services Organization (BSO), you will be responsible for overseeing a team that manages a client's financial statements. Your role falls under the General Accounting job function, where you will be involved in developing and maintaining accounting processes and procedures. You will lead a team of Senior Accountants to ensure proper documentation and recording of revenue according to US GAAP accounting policies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and supervise a team of Senior Accountants, ensuring effective teamwork, planning, communication, and performance assessment to support revenue recognition under US GAAP accounting policies. - Review and interpret legal contracts and supporting documents to verify proper documentation for revenue recognition, considering varying complexities. - Adhere to internal accounting policies, processes, and procedures. - Identify and address potential issues or conflicts, recommending corrective actions to minimize problems. - Prepare documentation for audits. - Establish strong relationships with internal clients and address their routine and non-routine queries. **Qualifications Required:** - ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified - Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial finance role with exposure to US GAAP Reporting, specifically Revenue - Knowledge of the real estate service industry and related terminology preferred - Ability to analyze financial reports and complex business documents - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build professional relationships at all levels - Proficiency in prioritizing tasks, working autonomously, and collaborating with a team - Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas) and familiarity with Oracle Peoplesoft CBRE Business Services Organization (BSO) values a collaborative culture based on respect, integrity, service, and excellence.
