Revenue Recognition Team Leader

As a Revenue Recognition Team Leader at CBRE Business Services Organization (BSO), your role is crucial in providing oversight of a team that maintains a client's financial statements. You will lead a stable team of Senior Accountants to ensure proper documentation and recording of revenue in accordance with US GAAP accounting policies. Your responsibilities include: - Leading a team of Senior Accountants by monitoring teamwork through planning, communication, and performance assessment to support revenue recognition under US GAAP accounting policies - Reviewing and interpreting legal contracts, supporting documents, and correspondence to verify proper documentation for revenue recognition - Adhering to internal accounting policies, processes, and procedures - Recognizing and analyzing potential issues or conflicts and recommending corrective actions - Organizing documentation for audits - Developing key relationships with internal clients and responding to their queries Qualifications required for this role include: - ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified - 5+ years of experience in managerial finance functions with exposure to US GAAP Reporting, specifically Revenue - Knowledge of the real estate service industry and terminology is preferred - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and complex business documents - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Oracle Peoplesoft knowledge CBRE Business Services Organization (BSO) offers a range of perks and benefits, including health insurance, accident and term life insurance, free meals and snacks, mental well-being support, child care partnerships, and on-floor entertainment options.
