Retail Sales Executive (Female) Job Description

Position: Retail Sales Executive
Industry: Textiles and Garments
Location: Cherpulassery

Salary Range: Between Rs 9000 to Rs 10,000 + Incentives + Bonus

Customer Engagement:

• Greet and assist customers as they enter the store.
• Provide expert advice on textiles, readymades and garments, helping customers make informed purchasing decisions.
• Understand the customer needs and preferences, and recommend products that suit their style and budget.

Sales Generation:

• Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

Product Knowledge:

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the store’s product range, including fabric types, garment designs, and current fashion trends.
• Stay updated on new arrivals, promotions, and discounts.
• Provide accurate information about product features, pricing, and availability.

Merchandising and Display:

• Ensure that products are displayed attractively and are easily accessible to customers.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate to fill the new stocks
• Assist in setting up promotional displays and signage.
• Conduct regular stock checks and participate stock takes.
• Ensure that stock is well-organized and stored according to company guidelines.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat customers.
• Collect and manage customer feedback to improve service quality.

Qualifications:

• Understanding of textiles, readymades, fabrics and garment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
