Role Overview

The Retail Merchandising Manager will be responsible for planning and managing product assortment, stock, and merchandising strategy to maximize sales. The role works closely with the Store Manager and Visual Merchandiser to ensure the right products are available, well-presented, and aligned with customer demand.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute merchandising strategies based on sales goals and seasonal demand.

Forecast product requirements by analyzing sales data, customer preferences, and market trends.

Decide product assortment, pricing, and allocation across categories.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain for timely replenishment.

Track product performance and provide insights for decision-making.

Align merchandising with visual display and promotional strategies.

Support staff training on product knowledge and promotions.

Recommend markdowns, offers, and campaigns to improve sell-through.

Prepare and share merchandising reports with management.

Qualifications

3–5 years of proven experience in retail merchandising, preferably in the apparel/fashion industry

Strong analytical and decision-making skills

Proficiency in inventory management and reporting tools

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Management, or related field
