Costume Designer - Female

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Apparel Fashion Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing innovative clothing and accessories that align with current fashion trends and consumer demands. This role requires a strong sense of style, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to bring designs to life.

Responsibilities:

• Trend Research: Conduct research on current fashion trends, market demands, and consumer preferences.
• Design Concept Development: Create design concepts and sketches for new clothing and accessory lines.
• Fabric and Material Selection: Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials for each design.
• Technical Design: Develop technical drawings and specifications for production.
• Prototype Development: Oversee the creation of prototypes and samples to ensure design accuracy.
• Production Oversight: Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure the quality and timely production of designs.
• Cost Management: Work within budget constraints to manage production costs effectively.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other designers, marketers, and merchandisers to ensure cohesive product lines.
• Market Analysis: Analyze market feedback and sales data to inform future design decisions.
• Creative Presentation: Present design concepts and collections to stakeholders and clients.
• Look Board Preparation: Platforms Canva allow you to compile and organize images digitally.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience as an Apparel Fashion Designer or in a similar role.
• Skills: Strong understanding of design principles, proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop), excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, creative problem-solving abilities.
• Additional Qualifications: Experience with sustainable and eco-friendly materials is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher, Internship

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
