Retail Associate

Nila is looking for a Retail Executive to work in close coordination with the retail team at Nila House. The main role of the person will be to ensure smooth, accurate and efficient functioning of the POS and its related systems. The role also includes interactions with the visitors to Nila House resulting in a satisfactory experience. The person should have good interpersonal skills.

Duties and responsibilities

Key responsibilities are

· Oversee the operation of the Point of Sale system, ensuring its efficiency and accuracy

· Maintaining sales and cash related documents daily, including Cash Deposit Receipts, settlements, etc.

· Preparing shipping documents.

· Collaborate with the IT team for system maintenance and troubleshooting

· Receiving fresh stock, generating barcodes and maintaining inventory levels

· Conduct regular audits to monitor inventory levels and prevent discrepancies.

· Well versed about the work and projects of the Foundation.

· Ensure all front of the house areas are spic and span every day.

· Meet, greet and interact with all guests visiting Nila House and communicate the Nila story.

· Conduct Tour of Nila House including the exhibition galleries.

· Assist with Nila retail- customer handling, complete knowledge of products, crafts and artisans.

Qualifications

• Graduate
• Preferable experience of 3-4 years in sales and/or POS management
• Proficient in using POS software

• Basic IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet,)
• Interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English.
• Basic report writing skills.
• Should be a team player.
