Respiratory Therapist

Position: Respiratory Therapist
Location: RevivePlus Multispeciality Hospital, Mothinagar, Hyderabad
Department: Critical Care / Pulmonology
Experience Required: 1–3 years (Freshers with strong clinical training may also apply)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Provide ventilator management and oxygen therapy in ICU, Emergency, and OT.
• Perform pulmonary function tests, arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis, and related diagnostics.
• Assist physicians in developing respiratory care plans for critically ill patients.
• Administer inhaled medications, nebulization therapy, and chest physiotherapy.
• Monitor and maintain mechanical ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP machines, and related equipment.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions, therapies, and home care management.
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control, safety, and hospital protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, therapy, and progress notes.
• Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies such as cardiac arrest, trauma, and code blue situations.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Respiratory Therapy / Respiratory Care.
• Registered or licensed Respiratory Therapist (if applicable as per state regulations).
• Strong knowledge of ventilator management, oxygen delivery systems, and ABG interpretation.
• Ability to work under pressure in ICU and Emergency care settings.
• Good communication skills and patient-centered approach.
• Team player with willingness to work in rotational shifts.
