Respiratory Therapist - Medical Devices

As a Respiratory Therapist with 5 to 10 years of experience, you will be based in Bangalore and your remuneration will be as per the industry standards. You are expected to be available for immediate to 15 days notice period. Your primary responsibilities will include evaluating patients with respiratory issues through diagnostic tests and medical history review. You will be required to develop individualized treatment plans based on the patients" specific needs and conditions. Administering therapies such as oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy will also be a part of your routine tasks. Additionally, you will operate and monitor mechanical ventilators and other life support equipment, especially during emergency situations like cardiac arrests or acute respiratory distress. Patient education will be a crucial aspect of your role, where you will need to educate patients and their families about respiratory conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures. Collaborating closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care is essential. Keeping accurate records of patient treatments, progress, and outcomes, as well as maintaining respiratory therapy equipment in good working condition, will also be part of your daily tasks. To excel in this role, you should possess proficiency in performing diagnostic tests, administering therapies, and have a good understanding of respiratory therapy equipment and technologies. Strong communication skills are necessary to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
