Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, treating, and monitoring patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders, ensuring optimal patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments to evaluate respiratory function and determine appropriate therapy.
  
• Administer respiratory treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.
  
• Operate and manage ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
  
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and analysis.
  
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory therapies and equipment usage.
  
• Maintain accurate patient records and document all treatments and assessments.
  
• Ensure all respiratory equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
  
• Valid certification or licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
  
• 1–4 years of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  
• Proficiency in operating respiratory equipment and conducting diagnostic tests.
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
