Residential Social Worker

You will be responsible for managing the morning routine by waking children at 6:00 AM and guiding them in maintaining personal hygiene, which includes bathing and brushing teeth. Your role will also involve preparing and ensuring that the children are ready for school on time. In terms of meal management, you will be required to provide nutritious meals, serving breakfast and lunch on schedule while promoting healthy eating habits among the children. As an activity facilitator, you will need to organize and engage the children in free-time activities that promote social interaction and skill development. Additionally, planning educational and recreational activities tailored to the children's interests and needs will be part of your responsibilities. You will also be expected to monitor the children's academic progress, provide assistance with homework and study routines, and collaborate with teachers and caregivers to support the children's educational goals. Maintaining accurate records of each child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns, as well as documenting incidents and interventions as needed, will be crucial to your role. Facilitating daily visits from donors and other stakeholders, ensuring a welcoming environment, and providing updates and insights regarding the children's activities and well-being will be part of your duties. Effective communication is key in this role, as you will need to regularly update the Project Coordinator on daily activities, challenges, and achievements of the children. You should also communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding the children's progress and any concerns. This is a full-time position, and the preferred experience includes a total of 1 year of work. The work location is in person.,
