Job Description

Responsibilities: Executing subsurface project work for upstream Technical team Providing reservoir engineering support to subsurface studies & Field Development Plans Conducting reservoir engineering studies using appropriate and up-to-date techniques including, but not limited to Well test analysis, PVT and SCAL data analysis, Decline curve analysis, Material balance Dynamic Reservoir simulation Have good understanding of broader geoscience topics including geophysics, petrophysics and geology. Have specific expertise in the use of industry standard software including but not limited to CMG suite, Eclipse, tNav, Petrel, Petex suite, Kappa. Applying existing technologies, approaches, methodologies in new combinations to design innovative workflows for solving complex problems. Managing multiple projects. Database Management Present data, interpretations and reports management Assisting other disciplines viz., Drilling, Production facilities teams with inputs Collaborating with other technical professionals in multi-disciplinary projects like Field Development Studies. Providing technical input to business development activities. Demonstrating compliance to company policies, for the entire team, including HSE compliance Reserves estimation and Reserves Reporting Exposure to Drilling and production operations will be added advantage Requirements Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from an accredited university or college Relevant experience of 15 yrs in Reservoir Engineering in a wide variety of reservoir types. Be able to demonstrate proficiency in petroleum engineering in both production technology and reservoir engineering. Must be keen to learn new technologies and workflows in reservoir engineering. Have good interpersonal and leadership skills. Have effective problem identification and solution skills. Have proven ability to work in integrated subsurface teams. Be self-motivated and can operate with minimal supervision.
