Reservation & Ticketing Executive

Job Title: Reservation Executive Location: Edappal Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹28,000 per month Company: Sterling Tours and Travels Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of experience in travel reservations or ticketing Job Summary: Sterling Tours and Travels is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservation Executive for our Edappal branch. The ideal candidate will handle flight, hotel, and travel bookings efficiently while ensuring a smooth and professional experience for clients. Key Responsibilities: Manage reservations for flights, hotels, transport, and tour packages (domestic & international). Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and other travel partners for bookings, modifications, and cancellations. Handle GDS/OTA systems for flight and hotel bookings (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, etc.). Respond to customer inquiries through phone, email, and in-person with accurate and timely information. Issue travel documents such as tickets, vouchers, and itineraries. Maintain accurate records of reservations, payments, and client information. Resolve booking issues, delays, or changes in coordination with vendors and clients. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing timely assistance and follow-up support. Work closely with the holiday planning team to support packaged tours and group bookings. Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Reservation Executive or similar role in the travel industry. Proficiency in GDS platforms and online booking tools. Strong knowledge of airline fare rules, booking procedures, and cancellation policies. Excellent communication skills in English and Malayalam. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good computer skills including MS Office and reservation software.
