As a Research Producer at Jagran New Media, you will play a crucial role in finding and organizing content, information, and people for video production. You will serve as the primary source of information for producers, writers, and presenters, ensuring the final product is accurate and compelling. Your key responsibilities will include conducting background research, fact-checking, sourcing and booking contributors and locations, and writing briefing notes. Key Responsibilities: - Must have previous experience in planning shows, with strong writing skills to create impactful content for the audience. - Prepare written products such as research reports, presentation decks, and other project deliverables. - Provide clear briefs to the production team, including scriptwriters, presenters, and guests, based on research findings. - Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of various news categories including breaking, hyperlocal, national, and international news. Key Requisites: - Ability to extract interesting facts from various sources and present them engagingly. - Skill to connect relevant knowledge with news and convey it effectively through writing. - Proficiency in scriptwriting and effectively pairing visuals with content. - Background in journalism is preferred.
