Key Responsibilities

• As a research engineer, you are expected to bring expertise in the following areas:
• Hands on development using agile development methodologies for creating high-quality software products and solutions related to mobile application development (iOS preferred) and web front end development
• Develop Innovation Lab projects (from initial scoping to implementation) to drive innovation in areas aligned with IDEMIA's business objectives.
• Conduct research/studies/POCs, analyze and conclude results related to technology innovation and business innovation.
• Work well within a fast-paced cross-functional environment with multiple teams, including engineering, infrastructure/IT, R&D and business development.
• Effectively communicate and demonstrate innovation projects status/ research results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IDEMIA research engineers globally to identify research problems, propose solutions and develop prototypes.
• Contribute to patent filings and intellectual property development to protect novel inventions and discoveries.

• A minimum of 1-4 years of experience working in a similar role that includes mobile application development (iOS preferred) and Web front end development exposure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (Data Structures, Algorithm design)
• Hands on experience with different UI animations using Swift UI, storyboards and performing third-party SDK integration
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python-preferred, Ruby, Perl)
• Exposure to common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and JavaScript frameworks (such as angular, react), is a plus
• Willingness and curious to explore emerging technologies and industry trends, such as cryptography, web3, biometrics, Blockchain etc.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision, strong team player, results oriented and metrics driven
• Experience with prototyping and rapid iteration techniques to validate ideas and concepts.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, collaborate with diverse professionals, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
