Research Associate

As a Research Associate for the Genome Editing project in Soybean at ICAR-National Soybean Research Institute, your role will involve conducting research in the field of molecular biology and biotechnology, agricultural biotechnology, plant biotechnology, plant molecular biology, plant physiology, genetics and plant breeding, biochemistry, or life sciences. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct research on genome editing in soybean - Attend the Walk-in-Interview at ICAR-National Soybean Research Institute on 16th June 2025 at 10.30 AM - Collaborate with a team of researchers to achieve project goals Qualifications Required: - For candidates with a Doctoral Degree: - Ph.D. in Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, Agricultural Biotechnology, Plant Biotechnology, Plant Molecular Biology, Plant Physiology, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Biochemistry, or Life Sciences - For candidates with a Master's Degree: - Master's Degree in Agriculture [M.Sc. (Ag.)] with specialization in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Agricultural Biotechnology, Plant Physiology, Biochemistry, Genetics and Plant Breeding - Must have a 4/5 years Bachelor's Degree with 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average - Minimum of three years of research experience demonstrated through Fellowship/Training - Must have at least one research paper published in a Science Citations Index or NAAS rated (>6) journal Please note that this position requires expertise in genome editing and a strong background in molecular biology and related fields.
