Research Associate - Cloud

We are looking for someone with 2-4 years of experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This position is based in Ahmedabad. As a Cloud Research Associate (RA), you will provide expertise and guidance on cloud computing technologies. Your responsibilities will include ensuring effective implementation and management of cloud infrastructure, driving innovation through cloud solutions, and collaborating with IT teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to maintain secure and efficient cloud environments. Your key responsibilities will involve leading cloud migration projects, monitoring and optimizing cloud infrastructure for performance and availability, providing technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-related issues, ensuring security and compliance with best practices, staying updated on cloud computing trends, recommending and implementing innovative cloud solutions, mentoring team members on cloud technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive cloud solutions. To excel in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of cloud services and deployment models, hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP, proficiency with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, a strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and storage in cloud environments, familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies, coding experience in languages like Java, Python, NodeJS, and Bash, and experience in creating, deploying, and operating large-scale applications on cloud platforms. Relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Associate, Google Cloud Certified, or similar are preferred, along with Terraform certification. Soft skills such as problem-solving, analytical, communication, and presentation skills are essential. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, possess strong project management and organizational skills, work with geographically dispersed teams, have a passion for learning new technologies, and excel in managing client interactions. This role may require occasional travel to support cloud initiatives and attend conferences or training sessions. You will typically work in an office environment and may be required to work off business hours based on customer downtime.,
