Research Associate - Assay Development and Screening

As a Biology Department member in Hyderabad, India, your role will involve effectively handling animal models and allied activities. This includes developing biochemical and cell-based in vitro assays using various technologies such as Fluorescence Polarization, HTRF, FRET, BRET, TR-FRET, Luminescence, AlphaScreen, and AlphaLisa. You will be responsible for screening NCE's using validated assays, setting up qPCR and western blot assays, preparing SOP drafts, drafting technical write-ups for client proposals, and managing experiment records and laboratory equipment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop biochemical and cell-based in vitro assays - Screen NCE's using validated assays with various technologies - Set up qPCR and western blot assays - Prepare SOP drafts and technical write-ups - Manage experiment records and laboratory equipment In addition to the technical responsibilities, ensuring safety at work is crucial. You must follow safety SOPs for cell culture, maintain equipment/instrument usage as per SOPs, and adhere to general housekeeping norms to create a safe working environment. Data integrity is also essential, requiring you to strictly maintain records and comply with related policies. Qualification Required: - Experience of 1-3 years after MSc/M.Tech in an industry setup - MSc/M.Tech in applied biological sciences like Biotechnology, Microbiology, Cell Biology, or Biochemistry As you focus on your role in the Biology Department, continuous skill development is encouraged.
