Research Assistant-CRC 1 Project

You are seeking a skilled Medical Technician to join the research team at SJRI. The role involves providing technical support for various research projects in nutrition, public health, and health technology. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing the setup, installation, and configuration of advanced and sensitive equipment and devices. - Performing systematic assessments using medical equipment. - Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards in the laboratory. - Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance. - Performing quality control checks and resolving technical issues. - Preparing technical reports, logs, and maintenance schedules. - Supervising daily technical activities to ensure productivity. - Performing accurate data entry, organizing and collating data, and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures. Preferred qualifications for this position include an M.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology or a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Science. You should have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a clinical or research setting with instrument handling. Proficiency in English and South Indian Languages is required.
