Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Optometrist at our Nayagarh & Balasore location. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting routine eye examinations, diagnosing visual problems or conditions, prescribing corrective lenses, and providing pre- and post-operative care. Day-to-day tasks also include educating patients on eye care, maintaining patient records, and collaborating with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in conducting eye examinations and diagnosing visual problems
• Ability to prescribe corrective lenses and provide patient education on eye care
• Experience with pre- and post-operative care in ophthalmology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team
• Bachelor's or Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
• Licensure to practice as an Optometrist in the respective state
• Experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred
