Repair & Testing Technicians

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Diagnostics

• Perform functional and quality tests on CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) devices using standard test tools and software.
• Identify hardware and software issues through systematic troubleshooting methods.

Repair & Refurbishment

• Replace defective components such as PCBs, connectors, and power units using soldering and rework techniques.
• Clean, reassemble, and restore devices to original specifications.
• Update firmware and reset configurations following standard guidelines.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure all repaired/refurbished devices pass quality checks before dispatch.
• Adhere to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and safety standards.

Documentation & Reporting

• Record test results, repair details, and parts usage in internal systems.
• Report recurring or critical issues to supervisors for process improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education:

  ITI / Job Oriented Course (JOC) / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Electromechanical, or Telecommunication.
• Basic understanding of networking devices and communication protocols.
• Hands-on experience with soldering, multimeter operation, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to interpret circuit diagrams and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
