We are looking to hire fresh law graduates for the role of Legal Analyst (Trainee). Candidates with outstanding organizational and communication skills, who are willing to work under pressure according to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment are encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and should be able to monitor, review, analyse, code and develop summaries of key legal concepts from court files and court written documents.

This position requires you to have access to a computer (laptop or desktop) and broadband internet connection with a minimum download/upload speed of 50 MBPS.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and gather related information on expert witnesses involved in litigation in the United States.
• Craft Boolean search strings to search leading databases such as LexisNexis to identify opinions, orders, briefs, pleadings and motions that involve expert witnesses and issues related to their testimony.
• Analyze the information and identify the nature of the expert's involvement in the case.
• Identify, analyze and summarize challenges/criticisms to the testimony of expert witnesses.
• Decipher legal issues involved and rulings on such issues in legal documents.
• Identify and tag the parties and their attorneys who retained or opposed expert witnesses.
• Identify and tag multiple documents from the same case found across different publishers and databases.
• Any other related tasks/ assignments that may be entrusted to the analyst.

Training will be provided on all aspects of the job responsibilities listed above.

Requirements:

• Graduate degree in law from a recognized college in India
• Proficient in MS Office
• Proficient in general online research and navigating search interfaces on different websites.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (English)
• Detail-oriented and excellent multitasking skills
