Remote Civil Engineer WFH Marketing & Project Coordination

About the Role

We are looking for a civil engineer who is not only strong in technical design and project execution, but also comfortable with marketing, client communication and coordination with suppliers and trades. This is a workfromhome role with regular online collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and coordinate civil engineering drawings, designs and project documentation.
• Use project management and collaboration software to plan, track and report project progress.
• Coordinate with internal teams, site engineers, suppliers and trades to ensure smooth execution of work.
• Communicate with existing and potential clients via email, calls and online meetings.
• Support marketing activities:
• Create and manage social media posts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
• Use graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe tools or similar) to prepare brochures, flyers, presentations and project visuals.
• Assist in preparing proposals, capability statements and case studies.
• Maintain accurate records of correspondence, quotations, orders and project status.
• Contribute technical input to marketing content, proposals and client communications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering concepts, drawings and construction practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Hands-on experience with project coordination and project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, Asana, Trello or similar).
• Comfortable using standard office tools (MS Office / Google Workspace).
• Basic to intermediate experience with:
• Social media marketing (posting, basic analytics, responding to queries).
• Graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar).
• Ability to coordinate with suppliers, contractors and tradespeople in a professional manner.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks remotely.

Preferable / Good to Have

• Experience working with Australian / international construction or engineering projects.
• Prior experience in marketing, business development or client relationship management.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and email marketing platforms.
