Job Description

Role & responsibilities This remote, individual contributor role focuses on obtaining and managing authorizations, as well as supporting accurate billing processes to ensure timely reimbursement. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of medical billing, insurance verification, and authorization requirements, particularly in pediatric therapy. Billing and Claims Management- Submit claims accurately and monitor them for denials or rejections. Resolve claim issues promptly. Post payments accurately to patient accounts and track outstanding balances. Generate and manage patient statements for internal purposes. Compliance and Reporting- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, state, and federal regulations in billing and authorization processes. Collaborate with the team to ensure all billing and authorization procedures align with organizational policies. Provide regular updates on authorization and claim status to management. Preferred candidate profile Ability to work independently from remote location. Ability to keep confidentiality of the work. Proven experience in Medical Billing, Insurance Verification Proficiency in Medical Billing software and tools Strong Organizational Skills Excellent English Spoken and Written skills Understanding of HIPPAA compliance standards Diligent, Eye for Details, Perks and benefits US Shift timings with 4.6 days work week. Lunch time of 1 hour.
