About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with strong experience in QuickBooks, UK accounting standards (IFRS/UK GAAP), and payroll management for UK clients. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of handling end-to-end accounting and payroll operations in line with UK regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Manage and process monthly payrolls for UK-based employees and contractors.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data and payroll compliance with UK tax laws.
• Handle PAYE, NI contributions, pensions, and related HMRC submissions.
• Review and verify invoices, expenses, and salary statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and receivable using QuickBooks.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external accountants for year-end closing and audits.
• Provide financial analysis, reports, and recommendations as required.
  

Key Requirements

• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and UK accounting/payroll systems.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Experience managing UK payrolls, tax filings, and compliance.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work according to UK business hours.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA qualification is a plus).
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
