Release and Compliance (Test Manager)

As a Release and Compliance (Test Manager) at our company, your role will involve overseeing the testing team and ensuring the successful execution of sprints. You will be responsible for defining the test strategy, objectives, and approach for projects, as well as creating detailed test plans. Your key responsibilities will include: - Serving as a Scrum Master for the testing team and guiding agile practices - Planning timelines and defining the scope of test execution for app releases - Establishing and optimizing the testing lifecycle - Identifying testing risks, evaluating them, and defining mitigation strategies - Monitoring test progress and implementing control measures - Coordinating project test team resources for continuous testing - Ensuring test coverage, completeness, and traceability - Maintaining testing and issue backlog - Creating, maintaining, and owning regulatory test documentation - Ensuring adherence to organizational QA policies, standards, and procedures - Contributing to release process and working with Release Engineer and Release Manager - Conducting root cause analysis for escaped defects - Identifying gaps in current processes and proposing improvements - Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging testing practices In addition to the above responsibilities, you should have the following qualifications and skills: - 10+ years of work experience in test management - Experience in manual and automation testing, with knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle, methodologies, and test techniques - Excellent knowledge of Agile Methodology - Experience in mobile app testing for Android and iOS - Experience in automation testing and the use of test management and defect management tools - Soft skills such as a zeal for exploring knowledge in domain and technology, being self-driven, and committed to quality Your role will also involve continuous coaching to the team on regulatory compliance, collaborating with key stakeholders on test plans, and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
