Rehabilitation Speech Therapist cum Remedial Educator

As a Speech Therapist, your role involves conducting detailed assessments to identify speech, language, communication, and learning challenges in children. You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized therapy and remedial education programs tailored to each child's needs. Your key responsibilities include providing speech and language therapy for articulation, fluency, voice, and comprehension difficulties, as well as delivering remedial sessions for children with learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia. Collaborating with psychologists, occupational therapists, special educators, and teachers to ensure holistic support is essential. Engage parents through regular counseling and provide strategies for home-based reinforcement. Maintaining detailed case files, therapy plans, progress notes, and reports, conducting progress reviews, and modifying intervention strategies as needed are also part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will organize awareness and training programs for parents and teachers on communication and learning development. Qualifications and Requirements: - B.Ed. Special Education - Minimum 13 years of experience working with children in a clinical or school-based setting - Strong understanding of child development, speech-language pathology, and learning disabilities - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Empathetic, patient, and child-friendly approach - Good documentation and reporting abilities In terms of work details, you will be working full-time from Monday to Saturday with work timing from 09:30 to 06:30.
