As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for conducting audiological assessments and tests to diagnose hearing loss and related disorders. You will provide counseling and education to patients on hearing health, hearing protection, and assistive listening devices. Collaborating with physicians, ENT specialists, and other healthcare professionals, you will develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with hearing issues. Additionally, you will participate in clinical research studies related to audiology and hearing science. Your role will involve maintaining accurate patient records and effectively communicating test results and recommended treatments to patients. You will be fitting and adjusting hearing aids and other assistive devices, as well as monitoring and documenting patient progress during treatment. Educating patients and families on hearing health and preventive measures will also be part of your responsibilities.
