You will be joining VHS-Samhita, a patient-centered rehabilitation center dedicated to providing multispecialty primary care for children with developmental delays and disabilities from middle and low socio-economic backgrounds. The organization offers a wide range of services including comprehensive assessments, counseling for parents, and consistent long-term support to families of children with special needs. Located in Chennai at Voluntary Health Services (VHS) in collaboration with Tiara Kids and the Centre for Excellence of Rare Disorders (CERD), the center is staffed by a team of primary care physicians committed to accessibility, continuity, comprehensiveness, and coordination within the family and community context. As a full-time Speech Therapist at VHS-Samhita, your role will involve assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in children. You will be responsible for developing individualized therapy plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and providing support to families throughout the intervention process. It is essential for you to have a Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology, at least 1 year of experience, and proficiency in speech and language therapy for developmental and acquired disorders. You should also possess experience in early intervention and school readiness programs, the ability to assess and manage articulation, fluency, voice, and language delays/disorders. Collaboration with occupational therapists, pediatricians, and mental health professionals, as well as educating and involving parents in home-based therapy support, will be part of your responsibilities. Strong communication, documentation, interpersonal skills, organizational and time management skills, and the ability to track progress and maintain detailed session records are crucial for success in this role. Inventory and Supplies Management: Monitoring and ordering office supplies, managing inventory, and ensuring that the office has the necessary equipment to function efficiently. Report Generation: Preparing reports, presentations, and other documents for management, often involving data analysis and a summary of key metrics. Compliance and Confidentiality: Ensuring that all administrative and data management processes comply with company policies and regulations. A key part of the role is to maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive company and customer information.

As a Tele-caller in this full-time role, your primary responsibility will be making a high volume of calls per hour on provided leads. You should demonstrate proficiency in linguistics, ensuring fluency and clarity in phonetics during your interactions. Additionally, the role may require you to handle various tasks within the tele-calling domain efficiently. The ideal candidate for this position should have at least a Higher Secondary (12th Pass) education, with a preference for individuals who have previous work experience totaling 1 year, specifically in sales. Proficiency in Hindi and English languages is preferred for effective communication with potential leads. This position is based on-site, requiring your presence during the morning shift.,

Child Development & Assessment: Observe and assess children's progress and development across all domains (cognitive, social, emotional, physical). Maintain accurate records of each child's development, including anecdotal notes, work samples, and progress reports. Identify individual needs, strengths, and areas for growth, and develop strategies to support each child's learning journey. Communication & Parent Partnership: Establish and maintain open, regular, and positive communication with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and classroom activities. Conduct parent-teacher meetings and share strategies for home-based learning support. Address parent queries and concerns professionally and empathetically. Collaboration & Professional Development: Collaborate effectively with co-teachers, assistants, and other school staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Actively participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development workshops to enhance teaching skills and knowledge. Contribute to school events, celebrations, and extracurricular activities. Health & Safety: Adhere to all school policies and procedures regarding health, safety, and hygiene. Administer basic first aid if necessary and follow emergency protocols.
