Rehabilitation Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional impairments
• Develop individualized rehabilitation treatment plans
• Manage conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, amputations, chronic pain, and sports injuries
• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team (physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, nurses)
• Prescribe physical therapy, occupational therapy, assistive devices, and medications
• Perform or oversee procedures
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and families about rehabilitation goals, recovery expectations, and self-care
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, safety standards, and ethical practices
• Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and continuous professional development

Qualifications & Requirements

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent)
• Specialized training or residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation , ICU Management
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and functional assessment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
