Regulatory Reporting Fin Ops

In this role as Statutory Reporting Fin Ops, you will be responsible for managing the preparation and submission of statutory reports to regulatory bodies in various jurisdictions. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing preparation and submission of statutory reports to regulatory bodies across relevant jurisdictions. - Coordinating with compliance, finance, legal, and other relevant teams internally for data sanity and completeness. - Flagging potential non-compliance risks or upcoming requirements and recommending corrective or preventive measures. - Monitoring and interpreting changes in statutory reporting requirements across jurisdictions and updating internal stakeholders accordingly. - Tracking and managing deadlines for ongoing reporting obligations relevant to financial services licenses and preparing periodic statutory submissions. - Maintaining up-to-date statutory calendars and control logs for all active regulatory licenses and obligations. - Developing and updating SOPs for reporting workflows and approval protocols. - Assisting with internal and external audits, including preparing audit schedules and responding to audit inquiries. - Participating in preparing variance analyses, reconciliation schedules, financial disclosures, and performing root cause analysis for anomalies. - Monitoring compliance with deadlines, statutory updates, and evolving regulatory requirements, recommending process improvements as needed. Qualifications required for this role: - At least 5 years of experience in regulatory reporting, audit support, or related finance roles, preferably in fintech. - Experience in handling audits and being POC for compliance and statutory audits. - Masters or Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. - Strong Excel and documentation skills. - Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. - Proactive, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple ongoing obligations.,
