Regulatory Reference Data - Analyst

Role Overview: You are a strategic thinker passionate about regulatory reporting and risk analytics and have found the right team in Basel Measurement & Analytics (BM&A) team. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for calculating and reporting Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) for FED regulatory requirements. Your daily tasks will involve working within the Regulatory Segment Code team to determine counterparty classifications and ensure accurate regulatory reporting, including RWA calculations. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain counterparty classification based on internal guidelines - Perform research on counterparties from various sources, understand the nature of business, and make data updates within specific timelines - Compare and contrast differences between Industry classification records, highlight and escalate any discrepancies - Work with stakeholders to resolve exceptions and obtain approvals where necessary - Collect data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity - Document process flows, SOPs, track and update changes, and analyze changes in a timely manner consistent with firm standards - Drive process improvements and implement necessary process changes - Proactively highlight potential issues to management - Be flexible to multitask and effectively manage priorities across the wider function - Support an effective and efficient team through continuous communication, timely feedback, and appropriate practices - Hands-on experience with data analytics tools like SQL, Alteryx, and Tableau - Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced/time-sensitive environment to support the team - Establish and execute annual development goals in conjunction with the manager and consistent with overall department objectives Qualifications Required: - Able to communicate effectively, drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels - Able to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines - Comfortable liaising with onshore teams and other remote team members - Strong core finance technical skills and solid understanding of finance processes, infrastructure, and systems - Attention to detail, juggle multiple priorities, and thrive in a varied, fast-paced environment Additional Details: Omit this section as no additional details of the company are mentioned in the job description.,
