Registrar-Gynecology

As an Obstetrician-Gynecologist in this role, you will be responsible for providing antenatal care and advice to pregnant women, which includes conducting ultrasound scans, offering dietary guidance, and performing general health assessments. You will also oversee labor and childbirth, manage deliveries, handle any complications that may arise, and deliver postnatal care to new mothers. Additionally, you will be expected to carry out various procedures and surgeries like hysterectomies, caesarean sections, and other gynecological operations as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Manage antenatal care for pregnant women - Perform ultrasound scans and provide dietary advice - Conduct general health checks - Oversee labor, childbirth, and deliveries - Manage any complications during childbirth - Offer postnatal care to new mothers - Perform procedures and surgeries such as hysterectomies and caesarean sections - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including nurses, midwives, anesthetists, and specialists - Communicate effectively with patients, explaining diagnoses and treatment options - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records - Stay updated with the latest treatments and medical research in obstetrics and gynecology - Provide emotional support and guidance to patients facing challenging situations like infertility or cancer diagnosis Qualifications Required: - Medical degree with specialization in obstetrics and gynecology - Proper certification and license to practice - Strong communication skills - Ability to work in a team-oriented environment - Compassion and empathy towards patients In this position, you will work full-time with benefits including paid sick time and paid time off.
