Registrar-Gynecology

Provide antenatal care and advice for pregnant women, including ultrasound scans, dietary advice, and general health checks. Manage labor and childbirth, including performing deliveries, managing complications, and providing postnatal care. Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions related to women’s reproductive health, such as infertility, menopause issues, gynecological cancers, and sexual health problems. Perform procedures and surgeries such as hysterectomies, caesarean sections, and other gynecological operations. Work in a multidisciplinary team alongside other healthcare professionals including nurses, midwives, anesthetists, and specialists. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining diagnoses and discussing treatment options. Maintain accurate, detailed patient records, and keeping up-to-date with latest treatments and medical research in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. Provide emotional support and advice to patients facing complex or distressing situations, such as infertility or cancer diagnosis.
