Regional Merchandiser

As a Merchandising Manager for Gold Jewelry, you will be responsible for implementing the merchandising strategy in alignment with the overall business strategy to drive growth and profitability. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing inputs for creating the NPI (New Product Introduction) calendar to ensure timely launch of new and improved products based on the latest trends and customer preferences. - Identifying and shortlisting vendors for product meets, screening designs, and evaluating products to maintain high quality standards. - Classifying and tagging new Gold products into appropriate design families and hierarchies. - Developing planograms and overseeing the creation of assortment mix for the Gold category to optimize product display. - Monitoring inventory levels and inventory holding in stores for the Gold category to ensure adequate stock levels. - Identifying dead stock and taking necessary actions such as melting or returning to vendors to minimize MGD losses.
