Job Description

As the Team Leader for the Area Business Managers and Relationship Managers in the Agri SME space, your role involves spearheading the acquisition of New-To-Bank (NTB) customers within the assigned geographic area. You will be accountable for the Profit and Loss (P & L) of the team. Your responsibilities include: - Demonstrating a strong understanding of Trade, Forex, and working capital products. - Focusing on enhancing coverage by expanding the client base and driving risk-calibrated operating profit. - Quickly recruiting high-quality team members with acceptable knowledge of the respective geography. - Building a robust customer base to increase product penetration and revenue generation through high standards of ongoing service. - Establishing strong connections and engagement with key clients and promoters. - Driving the cross-selling of liability and other third-party products to newly onboarded customers. - Collaborating with internal bank channels and developing open market sourcing through various financial consultants and associations. - Monitoring processes and suggesting improvements based on market trends to drive efficiency. - Ensuring continuous monitoring and review of accounts to align with budgeted business goals. - Maintaining portfolio hygiene by preventing delinquencies, ensuring timely closures, and security creation. - Monitoring the team's performance and providing positive motivation to achieve desired results. Qualifications required for this role include: - CA / Post Graduate Diploma / Post Graduate in Banking and Finance / Commerce or equivalent. - Strong oral and written communication skills. - Proficiency in relationship management and leadership. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a team leader role. - Knowledge of the local market will be advantageous. - Ability to lead and cultivate a high-performance and result-oriented team. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in SME/Assets funding work. In addition to the job requirements mentioned, you are expected to lead by example, drive innovation, and foster a collaborative environment within the team to achieve the set targets and drive business growth successfully.,
