Refinery Operator

Role Description:

• Coordinate with project teams and suppliers for setting up silver electrolytic cells.
• Ensure proper installation, calibration, and readiness for production.
• Operate silver refining processes by electrolysis on a day-to-day basis.
• Produce high-purity silver (9999 good delivery standard) consistently.
• Use refined silver to produce grains, casted products, and minted products as required.
• Manage the entire silver refining operation including process losses, cost control, and team performance.
• Monitor production efficiency and implement improvements where necessary.
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory compliances and accreditation requirements related to silver refining.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections.
• Establish and track KPIs and KRAs for self and team.
• Coach and guide team members to achieve operational and performance targets.
• Possess strong knowledge of silver refining processes, electrolytic cell operation, and downstream product manufacturing.
• Have experience in operational and team management, including cost and loss control.
• Understand compliance, quality standards, and accreditation requirements in precious metals refining.
• Ability to effectively monitor KPIs and KRAs.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Experience

• 1015 years experience in silver or precious metals refining, including hands-on experience with electrolytic processes.

Qualification

• Degree or Diploma in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
