Position Overview: We seek dedicated and skilled Linux System Administrators for Level 1 and Level 2 roles to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting our Linux server infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional support for our clients. Responsibilities: Administer and maintain Linux servers across various environments, including cloud and on-premises setups. Perform system upgrades, patches, and security updates to maintain system stability and security compliance. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Linux systems, ensuring minimal downtime. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and efficient solutions. Monitor system performance, analyze system logs, and identify areas for improvement. Manage virtualization platforms and containerization technologies for efficient resource utilization. Ensure effective data backup and disaster recovery processes are in place. Evaluate and recommend hardware and software upgrades as necessary. Create and maintain technical documentation, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Document system changes, incidents, and resolutions comprehensively. Generate regular reports on system performance, security vulnerabilities, and recommendations. Develop technical documentation, guides, tutorials, and informative content related to Linux systems and technologies. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Linux System Engineer with expertise in Linux administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security. Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, KVM) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Good knowledge of cPanel/WHM, Plesk, DirectAdmin, CWP, MSP Control Panels, etc. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, LPIC) are advantageous. Demonstrated aptitude in content writing, technical documentation, or related domains will be a plus. Perform basic troubleshooting on Windows servers (login issues, RDP access, service status, etc.). Assist in hybrid environments where applicable. Monitor servers using tools like Zabbix, Nagios, etc. Assist with backups and restores using tools such as Acronis, or rsync. Proactively detect and alert on server health and downtime issues. Perform data migrations between servers or datacenters under guidance. Coordinate with datacenter engineers for hardware-related issues and resolutions Qualifications & Skills: 0–2 years of hands-on experience in a similar Linux support/hosting environment. Solid understanding of Linux fundamentals (preferably CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian). Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., WHMCS, Zoho desk). Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Customer-first attitude with the ability to multitask. Basic knowledge of networking (IP addressing, DNS, routing concepts). Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends.
