Job Description

JD – for Credit Control & Recovery Executive

  • Evaluating new credit requests and conducting client credit checks.
  • Managing and collecting debts from company debtors.
  • Setting up the terms of credit for new clients.
  • Negotiating payment plans.
  • Managing the collection of all payments and debts.
  • Responding to client inquiries.
  • Processing invoices.
  • Preparing statements and reports for the company accountant.
  • Managing the sales ledger.
  • Liaising with customers and the sales team.
  • Conducting credit checks on new customers, resolving problems in relation to invoice payments, and reconciling complex month-end accounts.

· They must also report to management on outstanding issues, whilst highlighting potential debtor problems.

Credit Controller Requirements:

  • · Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or mathematics.
  • · Previous work experience as a credit controller.
  • · Good understanding of the legal complexities of loans, payment plans, and interest rates.
  • · Proficient in Accounting and Office software.
  • · Ability to reconcile complex debtors' accounts.
  • · Strong communication skills.
  • · Ability to deal with problematic clients.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage debt collection process from initial stages to final realization.
  • Ensure timely payment follow-ups with customers through phone calls, emails, and visits.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, operations) to resolve customer queries and improve collections.
  • Ensure the daily maintenance & reconciliation of Bank Accounts
  • Ensure daily reconciliation of cash in hand with the book balances
  • Verify all invoices / bills as per compliance requirements and forward the same to the regional finance team for payment processing
  • Ensure timely and accurate validation and authorization of all payments vouchers as per the company policy

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
