RECEPTIONIST

You will serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately. You will notify company personnel of visitor arrival and maintain security and the telecommunications system. Additionally, you will inform visitors by answering or referring inquiries and direct visitors by maintaining employee and department directories. Maintaining security by following procedures, monitoring the logbook, and issuing visitor badges will also be part of your responsibilities. Operating the telecommunication system by following manufacturers" instructions for house phone and console operation is essential. Keeping a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations is necessary. You will support continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. - Telephone Skills - Listening - Professionalism - Customer Focus - Organization - Informing Others - Handles Pressure - Supply Management Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: - University/college degree is an asset - Familiarity with phone systems - Previous experience with Microsoft Office software preferred The company is based in Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, and you must reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
