Job Description

A receptionist's main responsibilities include acting as the first point of contact for visitors and callers by greeting them, answering phones, and directing inquiries. They also handle administrative duties such as managing the schedule and calendars, processing mail, and maintaining the reception area. Additionally, they provide customer service, assist with clerical tasks, and manage office supplies. Key responsibilities

Visitor and caller management:

  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Provide information to visitors and callers and answer general inquiries.
  • Manage visitor logs when necessary.

Administrative support:

  • Update calendars and schedule meetings and appointments.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying.

Office maintenance:

  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and presentable reception area.
  • Monitor and restock office supplies.
  • Ensure the office is organized and secure by following security procedures.

Communication and coordination:

  • Draft and send emails on behalf of the company or staff.
  • Coordinate with other staff members and departments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
