Job Description

As a Receivables Trainee at NES Fircroft, you will play a crucial role in ensuring financial accuracy and integrity across global operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Transaction Matching & Verification: Reconcile financial data from internal systems and external sources such as customer portals, bank statements, and vendor reports. - Discrepancy Investigation: Identify and investigate mismatches, collaborating with relevant teams to resolve issues. - Reporting & Documentation: Maintain reconciliation logs, prepare summary reports, and ensure proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes. - System Updates: Update reconciliation status in ERP systems like Navision and ensure data accuracy across platforms. - Collaboration: Work closely with invoicing, credit control, and operations teams to ensure timely resolution of open items. - Process Improvement: Suggest improvements to reconciliation workflows, contribute to automation, and help streamline reporting. - Learning & Development: Participate in training sessions to enhance your understanding of reconciliation tools, financial systems, and compliance standards. Qualifications required for this role include: - Experience: Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in reconciliation, invoicing, or finance-related roles. - Educational Background: A degree in Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration (B.Com, M.Com, BBA, MBA preferred). - Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables. - Accounting Knowledge: Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial workflows. - Analytical & Detail Orientation: Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies. - Communication Skills: Clear and professional written and verbal communication to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders. - Eagerness to Learn: A proactive mindset with a willingness to grow in a fast-paced financial environment.
