Role Overview: As a Senior React & Next.js Developer at Bloombloom, your primary responsibility will be to develop dynamic, scalable, and high-performance web applications using React.js and Next.js. You will work on both the front-end and full-stack applications, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to ensure the delivery of top-notch user experiences. Your role will require you to take ownership of projects, mentor junior developers, and continuously enhance code quality and architecture. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using React.js and Next.js. - Build reusable, maintainable, and efficient code components and libraries. - Collaborate with design and product teams to create seamless and highly functional user interfaces. - Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and SEO through Next.js SSR/SSG features. - Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to improve the team's code quality. - Implement state management using Redux, Context API, or other modern solutions. - Lead architectural discussions and make technical decisions on projects. - Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development. - Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to ensure a smooth and bug-free user experience. - Mentor and guide junior developers to help them enhance their skills and overcome challenges. Qualification Required: - 3 - 5 years of professional experience with React.js and Next.js. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. - Deep understanding of React hooks, component lifecycle, and state management (Redux, Context API, etc.). - Experience with Next.js, including SSR (Server-side Rendering), SSG (Static Site Generation), and API routes. - Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development. - Experience integrating APIs and working with both RESTful and GraphQL services. - Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) and writing unit tests. - Experience with modern JavaScript build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.) and version control systems (Git). - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and deployment strategies. - Understanding of web performance optimization techniques, including lazy loading, caching, and code splitting. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team. - Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality solutions.
