React Native Developer

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Mobile Center of Excellence team at GlobalLogic, you will play a crucial role in supporting the technical direction of multiple products and platforms. By mentoring and coaching cross-functional teams and individuals, you will contribute to the growth and success of the team. Collaboration with product owners to analyze and document technical requirements and user stories will be a significant part of your responsibilities. You will be expected to produce high-level technical design artifacts for major stories and create high-quality operational and system documentation as necessary. Effective communication with other development teams, production operations, and various technology groups will be essential to ensure the smooth delivery of working software to production. The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in mobile development using React Native at a commercial software company. Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and React is essential, along with solid experience in building cross-platform mobile apps for iOS and Android. Familiarity with React Hooks, Context API, and modern React state management libraries is required, as well as experience with React Navigation and managing complex app navigation flows. Additionally, proficiency in integrating RESTful APIs or GraphQL, understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices, and experience with offline storage and biometrics will be advantageous. Familiarity with native modules and bridging between native and JS code, as well as comfort with version control tools, are also desired skills for this role.
