React Native Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced React Native Developer with 46 years of expertise in building and delivering high-quality mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in React Native, a proven track record of shipping scalable Android and iOS apps to production, and a deep understanding of modern mobile development practices. This role involves working on a consumer-facing mobile application in a high-growth environment, ensuring performance, scalability, and exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize app performance, ensure smooth UI/UX interactions, and handle device-specific challenges effectively.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party services, ensuring seamless communication with backend systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to improving development workflows.
• Monitor app performance, debug issues, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.
• Stay up to date with the latest mobile development trends, frameworks, and libraries to ensure the app remains modern and competitive.

Required Skills & Experience

• 46 years of professional experience in mobile application development,
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React Native CLI, Redux/MobX, and React Hooks.
• Proven experience in publishing and maintaining large-scale Android and iOS applications in production.

Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and CI/CD processes.

• Hands-on experience with native modules (Android/iOS) and bridging between native and React Native.
• Familiarity with mobile app performance optimization, animations, debugging tools, and memory management.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative workflows.
• Knowledge of Firebase, push notifications, deep linking, analytics integration.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Exposure to e-commerce or consumer-facing apps with high user traffic.

Experience with unit testing and automation (Jest, Detox, Appium).

Familiarity with App Store and Play Store submission processes and handling app updates.
