Job Description

As a Senior Hardware Designer at Elecbits, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic hardware systems for various industries like EV, Fintech, and Consumer electronics. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing electronic hardware systems, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection. - Ensuring designs meet performance, cost, reliability, and manufacturability requirements. - Conducting feasibility studies and research to evaluate new technologies, components, and design approaches. - Collaborating with software engineers, mechanical engineers, and product managers to define and develop hardware requirements and specifications. - Integrating hardware with software and mechanical components. - Collaborating with suppliers and manufacturers to select and source components. - Managing component obsolescence, resolving technical issues, and supporting mass manufacturing of at least 5,000 units. - Performing Signal Integrity (SI) analysis, Power Distribution Network (PDN) analysis, and Electromagnetic Interference/Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMI/EMC) analysis. - Conducting design analysis, simulation, and validation to meet industry standards and safety regulations. - Designing solutions for IoT devices, including architecture and hardware prototype development. - Staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. - Driving continuous improvement initiatives focusing on cost reduction, design optimization, and increased efficiency. - Staying informed on the latest market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape within the electronics industry. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. - 4-6 years of experience in hardware design with expertise in digital and analog circuit design. - Hands-on experience with IoT product development and System on Modules (SOM) such as Quectel, Neoway, and SIMCOM. - Proficiency in PCB design and layout tools such as OrCAD, Allegro, PADS Layout, Dx Designer, Hyperlynx, CAM350, GC Preview, and ADS. - Strong proficiency in hardware architecture and design, R&D, and proof-of-concept development. - Basic understanding of firmware and firmware-level debugging. - Deep understanding of certification standards and regulatory requirements. Ideal candidates for this role will have excellent problem-solving skills, experience with mass manufacturing and high-volume production, and skills in power electronics, high-speed layout, EMI/EMC, PCB design, Altium, BoM costing, and signal integrity.,
