As an experienced PCB Design Engineer in the EE Department based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, you will play a crucial role in guiding and providing technical support to junior team members for project development. With 3-6 years of relevant experience, you will leverage your expertise in high-speed design and analog design routing to contribute effectively to the team. Your responsibilities will include conducting hardware design in DFM, DFA, and DFT formats while ensuring adherence to PCB layout design principles, particularly up to 4 layers. You should be well-versed in designing and developing multilayer PCBs, following EMI/EMC standards, and demonstrating strong skills in library development, footprint creation, and layout using tools like Orcad (must), Allegro (must), Altium, Eagle, Mentor Graphics, among others. Moreover, you will be expected to exhibit a sound understanding of IPC Standards, signal integrity, power integrity, and various protocols such as RS232, RS485, SPI, USB, CAN, ZigBee. Your experience in power supply components like SMPS design, DC/DC converters, and LDOs will be highly valuable for the team. A proactive approach to upgrading your skills and knowledge continuously, as well as working effectively in a challenging environment with minimal supervision, will be essential for success in this role.
