R&D Engineer

Your role and responsibilities

This role is contributing to the Process Automation - Energy Industries at Bangalore, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Responsible for the whole SW development life cycle (SDLC) of working software: Requirements engineering, design, implementation, test including final system testing and maintenance
• Develop software components and interfaces to embedded systems
• Automate system and integration tests
• Handle software configuration management and build processes
• Contribute in different phases of software development, ranging from feasibility studies and simulations to implementation and testing
• Specify, design, implement and execute tests of the software functions Collaborate well with R&D teams , to deliver the Product releases on time, with good quality .
• Align with assigned targets (time, cost, quality) and complete project deliverables.
• Demonstrates sound understanding and usages of R&D processes and tools.

Qualifications for the role

• BE / B. Tech / ME / M. Tech, Computer Science/ Electrical or/Electronics and communication / Electronics and Instrumentation.
• 2 -5 years experience in design of Software applications.
• Extensive experience in software architecture and programming for industrial applications SW using Microsoft Technologies (C#/WPF/ASP.NET/.NET Core) C# 5.0 or greater, WPF, SQL
• High level proficiency in OO design & programming
• Good knowledge of industrial Ethernet communication (HTTPS, secure SOAP,REST API, OPC UA, sFTP)
• Fair Knowledge in cyber security, SQL Server, SQL Lite
• Experience in working in an agile development team and with Azure DevOps environment
• Should have good analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with power electronics applications would be an advantage
• Good communication skill
