Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

RC Detailing

Prepare detailed reinforcement drawings for structural elements based on structural design drawings.
Ensure drawings comply with design codes, client specifications, and project requirements.
Generate bar bending schedules (BBS) for fabrication and site execution.

Checking & Quality Assurance

Review and verify structural drawings for accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
Identify and rectify errors or discrepancies in RC detailing.
Ensure adherence to relevant standards (IS, ACI, Eurocode, or project-specific codes).

Coordination & Collaboration

Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and construction teams to resolve design issues.
Provide technical guidance to junior detailers or team members.
Support project execution by addressing queries related to RC detailing.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and approvals.
Prepare reports on checking and detailing status for project managers.
Update documentation as per client feedback or design modifications.

Process Improvement & Compliance

Suggest improvements in detailing processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project-specific standards.
Keep updated with new materials, software, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
37 years of experience in RC detailing and structural checking in construction projects.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Structures, or similar software.
Strong understanding of structural design codes and construction practices.
Attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
